- Prepare 1/2 kg chicken sliced in small chunks
- Get 3 knorr cube
- Prepare 4 tbsp canola oil
- Take 2 cloves garlic mince
- Take 1 onion slice in large chunk
- Make ready 3 tbsp oyster sauce
- Get 2 tbsp sesame oil
- Get 3 tbsp soy sauce
- Get 1 tbsp brown sugar
- Make ready 3 red bell julienned
- Take 3 green bell pepper, julienned
- Prepare to taste salt
- Make ready 4 fresh pepper dice
- Take 3 knorr cube
- Make ready 2 tbsp cornstarch, dissolved in 3 tbsp water
- Prepare 5 stalks spring onions dice
- Take 3 tbsp veg oil
- Prepare dash secret spice
This sauce has a high content of umami flavors that is suitable for having stir-fries. DIRECTIONS Mix together in a small pot the cornstarch, water and sugar. Add the oyster sauce and heat till it thickens. I like this added to snow peas, mushrooms etc.
Steps to make Oyster Sauce:
- Marinate chicken with secret spice and set aside; in a small bowl, add little water and cornstarch and mix everything together and set aside
- Preheat a wok, add canola oil and sesame oil and once its hot and fry chicken till its golden brown and remove from heat once its ready
- Add onions and garlic and stir fry for about 2 minutes then add the knorr cube, secret spice, pepper, salt and stir in soy sauce and oyster then add sugar
- And then taste and adjust seasoning before adding the cornstarch water mix, once you add the mix your sauce will be thick then add the fried chicken and stir everything together
- Allow it cook for another 2 minutes and then add bell pepper and then add the spring onions after 2 minutes
- Remove from heat and serve with white rice
