- Take 11/2 Bowl Wheat Flour

- Take 1inch Ginger Piece
- Prepare 2 Tsp Green Garlic

- Take 1 Tsp Garam Masala
- Make ready 1 Tsp Dhanajeera Powder
- Prepare 1 1/2 Tbsp Lemon Juice
- Make ready 3-4 Tsp Sugar
- Make ready 10-15 Rasins
- Take 2 Tsp Cashewnut Flakes
- Get as per taste Salt
- Take Pinch Asafoetida
- Take as required Oil for Roasting
Lilva Kachori Recipe - This is traditional Gujarati farsan where stuffing is made from fresh tuvar lilva dana aka green pigeon peas. This is the perfect snack for winter and monsoon season. The outer layer of these kachoris is crispy yet flaky. Here I have used mixture of whole wheat flour and all purpose flour.
Instructions to make Tuvar Stuffed Paratha:
- Take Green Tuvardana, Green Chillies, Ginger, Green Garlic in a mixture grinder bowl and coarse grind it.
- Take 1 Tsp oil in a kadai. Add pinch Asafoetida. Add coarse grind mixture to it and roast on low flame till 80% cooked.
- Add Coriander, Raisins, Cashews, Garam Masala, Black Pepper Powder, Dhanajeera Powder, Salt, Sugar, Lemon Juice to cooked mixture. Mix properly. Remove it from flame. Let it cool for some time. Paratha stuffing is ready.
- Take Wheat Flour in a container. Add oil and required quantity water to knead a soft dough. Cover it and let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Roll to medium size round sheets. Take one sheet, place stuffing on it. Cover it properly with another sheet and roll paratha from it
- Roast rolled paratha on medium flame. Apply oil or butter and roast till crispy golden brown on both the sides.
- Hot parathas are ready to serve. Enjoy them with Green Chutney and Tomato Soup.
The outer layer of these kachoris is crispy yet flaky. Here I have used mixture of whole wheat flour and all purpose flour.
