Instructions to make Mandazi:
  1. Recipe for Mandazi - 2 bowl self-raising flour - 1 tbsp  heaped margarine - A big pinch of cardamom powder - 1/4 cup sugar - 1/2 cup warm milk - Icing sugar for dusting(optional) - Oil for deep frying.Method: - In a basin put the flour, sugar, cardamom powder. Mix together then add the margarine, rub together till it resembles like breadcrumbs. Now bind with the milk, you can also add abit of water. Bind to a medium dough. Drizzle abit of oil.
  2. Cover & rest the - dough for 20 mins. - Once rested divide the dough in 4 equal parts. Roll each & leave abit thick - Cut into triangles or squares. Fry on medium heat till golden brown - When still warm dust some icing sugar. - Serve warm.
